Taking photos

What goes into the stamp?

The date, time and street address where the photo was taken, plus an order or reference number if you add one. The original, unstamped photo is kept too.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Photos are stamped with the time and coordinates right away, and addresses fill in when you're back in signal.

The app can't use my camera or location

Open the iPhone Settings app, scroll to WorkCamera, and turn on Camera and Location. Without location, photos are still stamped with the time.

Jobs and sharing

How do I keep photos together?

Group them into jobs, one per delivery, site or order. You can search by date, job, reference number or address.

How do I send photos to someone?

Share one photo or a whole job through Messages, Mail or any app. The stamp is part of the image, so the person you send it to sees it without any special app.

Your photos

Will these photos show up in my Photos app?

No. Work photos stay in WorkCamera's own library, on your iPhone. See the privacy policy for the details.

Can old photos clear themselves out?

Yes. Turn on auto-delete in Settings and old photos are removed for you.
